About Us

The Iowa City Cancer Treatment Center is a free standing radiation oncology facility affiliated with Mercy Hospital Iowa City.  We strive to provide our patients with the individualized attention they need in a family-like setting.  Our facility offers a comforting atmosphere while utilizing the latest techniques in radiation therapy. 

In addition to radiation therapy, our patients may receive other treatments such as chemotherapy, hormone therapy and/or surgery.  We frequently utilize a multi-disciplinary approach by collaborating and coordinating with other specialists.  Your radiation oncologist may consult with other physicians as necessary before your treatment begins to determine the best course of action.
